Rudder Health Waitlist Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Nullstack LLC, doing business as Rudder Health ("Rudder Health," "we," "us," or "our"), operates rudder.health. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and disclose personal information through our website and prelaunch waitlist.
The waitlist is intended for adults aged 18 or older in the United States. Its purpose is to let you request an email when Rudder Health launches. Joining the waitlist does not subscribe you to newsletters, ongoing product updates, or promotional campaigns.
In this policy, "personal information" means information that identifies you, relates to you, or can reasonably be linked to you. "Service providers" means companies that help us operate the website and waitlist. You can contact us about this policy at [email protected].
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Waitlist information: the email address you submit and the date and time of your signup. We standardize the email address to manage the list and prevent duplicate entries.
- Communications: if you contact us, your email address, the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to provide.
The waitlist form does not ask for your name, phone number, postal address, payment details, or health information. Please do not send medical records or other sensitive information when joining the waitlist or contacting us about it.
Website and security information
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, request information, and security or diagnostic logs.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from automated traffic and prevent abusive signups. When the waitlist form loads, Turnstile may process IP addresses, browser and connection signals, and information about the website and verification request. We receive a verification result to decide whether a submission can proceed. This processing can occur even if you do not submit your email address.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Register and maintain your waitlist entry, prevent duplicate signups, and send the launch notification you requested.
- Deliver and secure the website, verify submissions, troubleshoot errors, and prevent spam, fraud, or other abuse.
- Respond to your messages and handle privacy, removal, or deletion requests.
- Comply with applicable law and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.
You can browse the website without joining the waitlist. We need your email address to register your entry and send the launch notification. We will not use a waitlist signup as permission to send unrelated marketing emails.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use advertising pixels, advertising cookies, or marketing analytics tools on the waitlist website. Cloudflare's hosting and security services may use scripts, cookies, or similar technologies where needed to deliver the website, detect automated traffic, and prevent abuse.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking security scripts or related technologies may prevent verification or waitlist submission from working.
How we disclose information
Service providers
We use Cloudflare to host and protect the website, store waitlist entries in Cloudflare D1, and verify submissions with Turnstile. Cloudflare processes information in connection with those services. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum for information about Cloudflare's practices.
When sending the launch notification, we may use an email delivery provider and disclose your email address to that provider so it can send the requested message on our behalf. We do not authorize service providers to use waitlist information for their own marketing.
Legal and safety purposes
We may disclose information when required by law or a valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect the rights or safety of people, protect our website or business, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business transactions
If Nullstack LLC or the Rudder Health business is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, waitlist information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections. We will provide notice if required by law or if the transaction materially changes how your information will be handled.
No sale or advertising sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or disclose it to third parties for their own direct marketing.
How long we retain information
We retain active waitlist entries while preparing for launch and delete them no later than 90 days after Rudder Health's public launch or cancellation of the project, whichever happens first. We remove your active waitlist entry earlier if you request deletion.
We may retain a limited record of an opt-out or deletion request when needed to honor that request, demonstrate compliance, or meet a legal obligation. We retain correspondence and security records only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose or as required by law.
Information deleted from active systems may remain temporarily in service provider backups until those backups expire under the provider's retention practices. Backup copies are not used to send launch notifications. If a backup is restored, we will reapply relevant deletion and opt-out requests.
Your privacy choices and requests
You can ask us to remove you from the waitlist at any time by emailing [email protected], preferably from the address you used to sign up. The launch email will also include a way to opt out of further waitlist emails.
You may contact the same address to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Depending on the law that applies to you and to us, you may have additional rights, such as obtaining a portable copy, objecting to or restricting certain processing, or appealing a denied request. You may also make a request through an authorized agent where permitted by law.
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify a request or an agent's authority. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful reason we cannot fulfill a request. Where you have a right to appeal a decision, you can submit your appeal to [email protected]. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Do Not Track signals
The waitlist website does not change its behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We do not track your activity across third-party websites for targeted advertising. Cloudflare may process technical information directly to provide the hosting and security services described above.
Security and processing locations
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission to the website and server-side verification of waitlist submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Children and minors
The website and waitlist are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect waitlist information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact [email protected] so we can take steps to delete it.
Other websites and future services
Links to other websites, including our providers' privacy policies, lead to websites operated by other organizations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
This policy covers the website and prelaunch waitlist. If we later offer product accounts or services that collect health information, we will provide the applicable privacy information before collecting information for those services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. We will post the updated policy at rudder.health and revise the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide any additional notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law. An update to this policy does not, by itself, subscribe you to additional marketing communications.
